Any male student planning to attend SIUE, please see the guidance office for info on the Balanced Man Scholarship worth $1000. The application process consists of a written application followed by a personal interview. Application materials are due by July 15th. Interested students should see the guidance office.

 

Sangamon County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship applications are available in guidance. This scholarship is open to graduating seniors or current freshman in college who are Sangamon County Farm Bureau members. Deadline to apply is April 30, 2011.

 

Kentucky Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon is offering a number of Balanced Man scholarships totaling $5,000 to freshman males entering Murray State University. Deadline to apply is May 16, 2011. Interested students should come to guidance or email torourke@murraystate.edu

 

Over the Moon Productions is offering a $1000 award of merit to a graduating senior who is planning to major or minor in theater arts. Applications are available in guidance.

 

Attention Seniors: Are you still trying to figure out what direction to go after graduation? Do you have an interest in Food Science & Nutrition and could see yourself working for General Mills or Frito Lay? If so, stop by guidance to find out more about a $55,000 over 5 years scholarship to Kansas State University in the Milling, Science, and Management program. All you need is a minimum 21 ACT a 3.0 GPA, and a strong interest in science to apply. They are searching for an out-of-state applicant from Sangamon County to apply.

 

Congratulations Drew Kluemke for being chosen as one of the winners of a week-long all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. this summer chosen by the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives.  Drew and Emily Chesser were chosen to attend the Illinois Electric and Telephone Cooperative Youth Day this past Wednesday, April 6th.

 

The Williamsville Vocal Music Boosters will meet Monday, April 11, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school teachers' work room. Please join us!!

 

Congratulations to the boys track team on their victory last night in a triangular meet with Sangamon Valley and Mt. Pulaski!
