WHS Daily Bulletin

 

After Prom tickets on sale every day this week!  $5 per ticket and can be purchased during lunch.  Waivers must be completed and turned in before purchasing a ticket.  Every person attending needs a ticket and a completed waiver (regardless of age).  Blank waiver forms are available in the WHS office.  Buy your ticket during the week of March 28th to ensure you get a free souvenir t-shirt!

 

Thursday, March 31:

 

Lunch:  Cheeseburger macaroni or lasagna cheese roll with meat sauce, whole wheat breadstick, lettuce salad, fresh fruit, ½ pint of milk

Parents of Girls Soccer Players – please call Laurie Stover to schedule a day to work in the soccer concession stand at 341-4277 or email soccer42you@aol.com .  There are several days that are still open and need to be covered.

 

The following local scholarship deadlines have been extended to April 15th: JFL, WEA, and the Barbara Greening Memorial Scholarship. All applications and their supporting materials should be turned into the guidance office no later than the end of the school day on April 15th. 

 

2011 Psi U Scholarship Grant Program available for male freshman attending the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Applying for or receiving the grant in no way obligates applicants to join Psi Upsilon Fraternity. Applications can be found, and filled out on-line, by visiting our website at www.illnipsiu.com. Deadline to apply is September 19, 2011.

 

Class Dues – If you are planning on attending Prom, all class dues must be paid.  Check with a class sponsor to make sure you are in good standing.  Freshmen:  Mrs. Walsh, Sophomores:  Mrs. Patterson, Juniors:  Mrs. Strack, Seniors:  Mr. Martens.

 

New Berlin Art Fair  - The New Berlin Art Fair was held March 25 -28.  Twenty schools submitted a total of 1,122 works of art in the categories of: Drawing; Painting; Computer Art; Digital Photography; Pottery; Printmaking; Watercolor, 3D sculpture, and Fibers. Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding showing!
