Prom Dress Exchange on Saturday, January 29th from 10am – 2pm in the High School cafeteria.  After Prom volunteers will do the work and sell your dresses for you.  Invite all of your out-of-town friends to come, shop and purchase their prom dress here!  For more information, contact Pam Kovacevich, 725-9170.

Attention Sophomores: Career Day will be held on March 8th, 2011 at Lincoln Land Community College. Students who attend will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from over 50 career fields. Some career pathways present will be Agriculture, Arts & Communications, Business, Healthcare, Human Services, Engineering, as well as the Military. Interested sophomores must sign up in the Guidance Office by the end of the day on Monday, January 31st. Students not signed up by the deadline will not be allowed to attend on March 8th- no exceptions.


Girls Track – Fun runs after school on Tuesdays & Thursdays until 4:45 PM


Mark your calendars! Tuesday, March 8th Illinois College will be hosting the annual ICE (Illinois College Exploration) Fair. Over 50 colleges and universities are participating and the event is open to all students and their families from 6:30-8pm with a financial aid meeting starting at 7pm. This a great way to jump start your college search! Stop by the guidance office for more details.


Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville invites prospective nursing students to attend their open house on Saturday, February 19th from 8am-noon. A variety of sessions will be offered on baccalaureate, RN to BS, Master's and DNP programs. Students will also get to tour the state-of-the-art learning center. Pre-registration is recommended. Look for the posters in the halls for more details or see the guidance department.


Sports Boosters are looking for two students in need of service hours to sell half court shoot-out tickets at the redb20110128ing home boys basketball games.  Please let Mrs. Chladny know if you are interested. 


VB players are needed to cover the 6th grade games on 2/3, 2/10, 2/15 and 2/17.  Sign-up is on the counter.
