Attention all football players:  Gear turn in is Thursday right after school.  Make sure that all of year gear is clean and ready to turn in.  If you are not going to be at school for some reason on Thursday, make arrangements to get your gear here.

Barnes & Noble Fundraiser – November 21 - 1:00-4:00 PM-
Sign your class poster at the greeter table while you shop and be entered for a chance to enjoy a pizza lunch with music & relaxation on the first day of finals.  Those attending the book fair from the class with the greatest number of signatures will be the lucky winners.

 

General Announcements:

 

Study Club will be available Tuesday & Thursday 3:20-4:00 PM in the Library and Wednesday morning 7:30-8:10 in the Library.  Resource support will be available on Tuesdays & Thursdays as well.

 

WHS Vocal Music Fundraiser: Members of the WHS Choirs will be selling Gourmet Delight cheesecakes again for this holiday season.  Orders & payment are due by Nov. 30.  Delivery will be Dec. 9.  Contact a choir student to place your order, or you may call Mrs. Bosworth at 566-3361.  Thank you for supporting our vocal music program!

 

Class Rings – If you did not pick up your class ring, Jostens has left them in the office.

 

Seniors – If you did not turn in your graduation order, there are extra forms in the office.  Jostens would like to have all orders for those planning on going through the ceremony by November 29.  You can drop your order off in the office or you can also call Jostens directly and pay by credit card at 217-483-8989.

 

Congratulations to the Williamsville FFA Agronomy team placing 3rd last night. All 3 team members placed in the top 10: Rachael Pine 4th place individual, Austin Sloan 7th place individual, and Nathan Jerome 9th place individual. Thanks to all the FFA members who helped set up and take down the contest.

 

Any student signed up to take the Better Test Scores ACT review classes please see Mrs. Chladny for a discount referral coupon. There are only two available-first come first serve.

 

Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation Scholarship Program: Several scholarships available for students accepted into a nursing program, a trade school, a child or grandchild of a Veteran, or a child of a deceased father or mother who was a Veteran. There are also $1,000 scholarships available to all seniors with the only requirement being that the student has taken the ACT. Richland Community College ACT Review Classes: March 1-March 31 on Tuesday/Thursday from 6:30pm-8:00pm. The cost is $110 and includes the book, practice tests, and discussion. Call 217-462-0480 or stop by guidance for more details.
