SAVE THE DATE: November 10th, 2010- WHS will host a financial aid night for juniors/seniors and their parents in the cafeteria. The presentation will include information on different types of financial aid, the financial aid process and scholarships.
Christmas Break ACT Prep Classes: Take advantage of your free time, sign up for the Better Test Scores ACT prep program. Christmas break class schedules and flyers are online at www.bettertestscores.net or also in the guidance office. Spring class schedules & flyers are also available.
The Junior Class After Prom Committee is having a Basket Raffle, December 4th at the Sherman Athletic Club during the Sports Booster Clothing Sale. Anyone interested in creating a theme basket or donating money, gift cards or items for a basket, please contact Sandy Leka, 414-1985.

Contact Cathy Constant at 836-2176 or find them at the Bullets’ playoff game this Saturday at Williamsville at 1:00 p.m. Proceeds benefit the After Prom event hosted by the junior class. Seniors – Please turn in your casual, formal, and baby pictures plus a quote to either the Yearbook students or Mr. Gudwien as soon as possible. Also, start bringing in your acceptance letters so we can display them in the library windows!
Illinois PTA, Lillian E. Glover Scholarship Program will again award two scholarships for graduating seniors planning to enter the Field of Education or an Education Related Degree Program. Applications may be downloaded at www.illinoispta.org or forms are available in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is February 15, 2011.
Schedule Changes - Mrs. Chladny will be taking appointments for 2nd semester schedule changes December 13th-15th. Any student who would like to discuss changes for 2nd semester will need to schedule an appointment before or after school or during a resource period. Schedule change requests made after the 15th will not be honored. Please remember that 2nd semester changes are very limited.
Youth and Government Reminders: Butter Braid order forms are due Monday, Nov. 1. Please turn these in early or on time! All members, we will meet on Monday, Nov. 1 at 6:00 p.m. to prepare for Pre-Leg I on Friday, Nov. 5. Legislators, you need to turn in completed bills and bill briefs by Tuesday, Nov. 2. I am still willing to meet with you to help you, but several groups have not yet scheduled a time yet.
Girls Basketball TRYOUTS will be held on Monday, Nov 1st and Tuesday, and Nov 2nd of next week. The 2010-2011 Lady Bullet basketball team will be selected after practice on Tuesday, Nov 2nd.

Congratulations last night to Reece Whitley for receiving the Most Improved Golfer award. Also a special congratulations to Jay Winkleman and Curtis Clark for receiving Co-Most Valuable Player awards for the boys golf team. The Bullets finished the season with an outstanding record of 25-6.
